Shop Catalina Holiday Kick Off

Shop Catalina 2024!

Support local small businesses, enjoy holiday shopping, receive discounts, enter to win prizes and participate in festive holiday activities! The Shop Catalina Holiday Kick-Off is a fun filled day and evening with caroling, a visit from Santa, holiday tree lighting and more.

Shoppers will have a week, from Saturday, December 7 through Saturday, December 14 to visit participating retailers to pick up a Shop Catalina Discount Card (valid through December 24), enter In-Store prize drawings and collect the Treasure Card code words found at each store for a chance to win one of three Grand Prizes (Catalina Island Gift Certificates up to $125).

A complete list of retailers is below and will also be available during the event at the Love Catalina Island Visitor Center located on the Green Pleasure Pier.

Lets light up the holidays like never before. Avalon residents are encouraged to decorate their homes, apartments, condos, etc. in a way that will be remembered forever.
