Shop Catalina & Holiday Kick Off

Kick off the holiday season in beautiful Avalon with the Shop Catalina Holiday Kick-Off on Saturday, December 6, 2025! This festive event is a perfect way to support local small businesses while getting a start on your Christmas and Hanukkah shopping. Enjoy exclusive discounts, enter prize drawings, and experience the holiday magic with family and friends!

The day will be filled with yule-tide cheer, including live caroling, a special visit from Santa, and the lighting of the Catalina Island Christmas tree on the Wrigley Stage. Gather with the community as we celebrate together in the heart of Avalon. The event begins at 12 pm and continues with events on the Wrigley Stage throughout the day. Shops will be open until 8 pm on opening day so shoppers can take advantage of opening day discounts (which tend to be a little extra!).

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Shoppers will have a full week, from December 6 to December 13, to pick up a Shop Catalina Discount Card (valid through December 24) and explore participating shops across Avalon. Each store you visit will have opportunities to enter in-store prize drawings and collect Treasure Card code words, bringing you closer to winning one of three Grand Prizes: Catalina Island Gift Certificates up to $125!
