Bikes & Golf Carts

Once you arrive in Avalon, you’ll quickly discover that it has a very pedestrian-friendly downtown. Visitors enjoy exploring the hills surrounding Avalon and renting a golf cart, pedal bike or electric bike is the best way to do just that. Golf carts are rented by the hour, with a 2 hour maximum rental. Golf carts can not be rented for more than 2 hours. Pedal bikes and electric bikes can be rented by the hour, half day or all day.

Golf carts are only permitted to be used within the City of Avalon (please follow maps, and abide by the rules of the road). Pedal bikes and electric bikes are allowed into the interior with a bike permit from the Catalina Island Conservancy. Stop by the Conservancy's Trailhead building for more information.
