Catalina Wildlife
Catalina Island is home to a vast array of wildlife, some native and some non-native. The wildlife that visitor might spot include the Catalina Fox, Bald Eagles, seabirds, Catalina Shrew, bats and mule deer. Catalina's non-native bison herd, which includes about 120 bison, can be seen within the 42,000 acres of Catalina's protected Catalina Conservancy lands and occasionally in the village of Two Harbors.
