No one can deny 2020 has been unlike any year before with an ongoing pandemic changing the world and how we live in it. One of the things often mentioned when discussing how COVID-19 has impacted lives, is the noticeable absence of live music and concerts. Catalina Island, like the world, closed down its annual concert series and put on-hold many events that in previous years included live music performances.
A favorite concert during our annual series was Xceptional Music's presentation of a tribute to ABBA. A "pandemic" version of the ABBA concert was produced by Xceptional. And while we still can't get together to enjoy live music, we share this concert with you as a musical gift and in the spirit of keeping hope alive until we will return to live music performances when the time is right. Until that time, enjoy the sounds of ABBA and imagine a time, hopefully soon, when we will be outside with sand on our toes, enjoying the sound of live music.
