Catalina Mermaid Festival
October 25-26, 2025
Join us for the first Catalina Island Mermaid Festival, a magical, family-friendly celebration of ocean art, music, and mythical sea creatures!
Festivities kick off with a Mermaid and Ocean-Themed Art Festival along Crescent Ave, where local artists showcase their sea-inspired creations. Throughout the weekend, enjoy live music and a beer garden, with a special Saturday night performance on the Wrigley Stage.
On Saturday, don’t miss the Rubber Ducky Derby hosted by the Avalon Interact Club — and keep your eyes peeled for a surprise mermaid sighting during the race!

Artists, jewelry and crafts. In addition to artist booths, visitors can make mermaid and ocean themed crafts, have their face painted and have henna tattoos. Mermaid Makeover Stations with photo opportunities.

Rubber Ducky Derby Avalon Interact Club | South Beach
Support Avalon Interact Club. Ducks are $5 each or 5 ducks for $20. Enjoy after race playtime with Madison the Mermaid

Synchronized mermaid swim and “Build a Mermaid Tail in the Sand” contest.

Go to Flx and get creative and paint all ages welcome. $25 per person.
