    Level 1 Naturalist Training: Free 2-hour classroom-based overview of the natural and cultural history of the Island. This course highlights why Islands are important through the stories of Catalina Island. Attendees will learn about Catalina's geologic formation, unique species, cultural history and current land management.

    Every second Wednesday of the month: 2/12/2020, 3/11/2020, 4/8/2020, 5/13/2020, 6/10/2020, 7/8/2020, 8/12/2020, 9/9/2020, 10/14/2020, 11/11/2020, 12/9/2020

    Located at the Nature Center at the top of Avalon Canyon from 8:00am-10:00pm
