Christy Lins first visited the island in 2000 and fell in love with its outdoor adventures and natural beauty. Along with her brother-in-law, long-time Island local Caleb Lins, she purchased Catalina Divers Supply in 2013, hoping to expand and enhance the venerable company’s reputation as a mecca for divers. Originally incorporated in 1957, when recreational scuba diving was in its infancy, Catalina Divers Supply has grown to include three locations and a dive boat. Offering a full range of experiences and classes in both scuba and snorkeling, CDS also offers retail, repair and gear rental. With a staff of more than a dozen, the company offers daily, year-round adventures to explore Catalina’s underwater world.
