Free Catalina Island Concert Series featuring The Highwayman Show - August 20
Presented as part of the Catalina Island Concert Series and in partnership with The Xceptional Music Company, music lovers will enjoy a tribute to the timeless music of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. Catalina Comedy Island - September 9-10
Experience an incredible weekend of world-class stand-up comedy in one of the nation’s most unique venues, the Casino Theatre on Catalina Island. Art lovers will flock to the island as the Catalina Festival of Art showcases an array of art from both locals and visitors. Catalina Film Festival, September 21-25
Taking place Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 25, The Catalina Film Festival honors the island’s unique film history, beauty and conservation efforts. Presented by the Catalina Film Institute, the festival will showcase an array of selected features with the goal of fostering the growth of upcoming filmmakers. Annual Catalina Island Chili Cook-Off - October 1
The Sixth Annual Catalina Island Chili Cook-Off will entice and feed the souls of spicy food lovers with a selection of the best chili the island has to offer. Catalina Island Triathlon & Duathlon & 5K - October 29
Celebrating its 45th anniversary, the Catalina Island Triathlon & Duathlon will be held Saturday, October 29. Starting at the Green Pleasure Pier in Avalon, participants will swim, bike and run throughout Catalina Island on a 10K and 5K course. Proceeds benefit Love Catalina.
