Avalon, CA – Catalina Divers Supply invites ocean enthusiasts of all ages to celebrate Easter with a unique underwater adventure at the Casino Dive Park. This two-part event begins with an Easter “Egg” Paint Night from 6-8 p.m. on April 11, followed by an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt for divers on April 19.
Local children are invited to join the Easter “Egg” Paint Night, where they can unleash their creativity by painting two rocks with non-toxic acrylic paint—one to keep and one to be “hidden” underwater as part of our special Easter “egg” hunt. “This event is a fun way to engage the community and introduce young minds to the beauty of Catalina’s underwater world,” said Christy Harp, owner of Catalina Divers Supply. The paint the night event will be free for children and $5 for adults, which includes hot chocolate, paint and “eggs” to paint.
Then, on April 19, certified divers can take part in the Underwater Easter Egg Hunt. Painted rocks will be scattered throughout Casino Dive Park, waiting to be discovered. Each recovered rock can be redeemed for fantastic discounts and prizes, making for an unforgettable diving experience.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together in a creative and environmentally friendly way,” Harp said. “We love introducing both kids and divers to the wonders of the ocean, and this event makes for a truly one-of-a-kind Easter celebration.”
